Pursuit of Goal

What is an interest or passion you’d like to nurture and grow?

Well, I love to read aloud.  Children's books and poetry are my favorites.   I have pondered and procrastinated the idea of posting videos on You Tube or Vimeo for about a year.  I took the initial step by creating a blog titled, "Narrator Gertha".  However, it is still undone.  This jam session has ignited/convicted me again to "just begin".   Bonnie, I take courage in your words you posted:

“For we are God’s masterpiece (the original Greek word poema is translated “poem“),
created in the Messiah Jesus to do good works
that God prepared long ago to be our way of life.”
Ephesians 2:10
Don’t discount that voice inside you, the one you were born to speak in — whether you do it through writing, photography, cooking or engineering, teaching, crafting and anything else.

Thank you!!

God it's me....

I read a post today from a new blog I found; http://time-warp-wife.blogspot.com/2011/08/time-management-3-points-to-consider.html.  It gave me some much needed perspective on how I've been feeling lately.   Thank you Darlene!!

As our children are getting older, I am learning I must begin the process of learning to let go. It is proving quite difficult for me.  Change isn't easy but it is necessary.  God is teaching me that I must trust in the prayers I have prayed over our children.  The Serenity Prayer truly blessed me today:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Hey Ya'll!!

I feel truly refreshed after my "digital break".  Our kids started school today and I am feeling rejuvenated!!

Palmetto Baptist Church in Palmetto, Ga., has a sign near the highway that usually ignites my intrigue/perspective.
It reminded me of Matthew 6:33 --"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you".

{Sorry my pic is not centered.  Had to make it X-large so it could be read}

Until next time....
